Marian Hossa is making a huge impact for the Blackhawks – he recently got back into the lineup, and the Central Division leading Hawks are showcasing their immense offensive talent every night. Check out this highlight-reel goal from Hossa (that cracked Sportscenter’s Top Ten plays):
He grabs the pass with one hand, drops the puck down, and swats it in mid-air past Antero Nittymaki. Hossa has consistently proven himself as a world-class forward, and if he can stay healthy, Chicago fans can count on huge numbers from Marian.

Hossa made me eat some crow. I had been razzing him pretty good for missing a totally empty netter earlier that was saved by a defender’s stick. He missed another a little later on that I felt…in my superior hockey skills way – i.e. armchair goal scoring in the glory of my own dreams…should have gone in.
Then, he pulled this one off. I was like, “Did he just???” then the reply, “Holy crap, he did!!” Total wiffle ball, drop it and bat it. I sat down and STFU about Hossa. Let’s get that cup Hawks!!!
