Anze Kopitar Scores Forsberg-Stamp Style Goal

Anze Kopitar is one of the many players rumored to be on the trading block, but he’s still showcasing his immense talent. In this shootout against Boston, Kopitar makes Thomas look ridiculous with this deke.
Obviously, this goal is a homage to Peter the Great:
Even though Peter Forsberg coined this move in the ’94 Olympics, it’s nice to see Anze execute the move so efficiently. There’s been some speculation that if the Kings made a move for Kovalchuk, that Kopitar would be involved because of the cap hit of his salary. If I was an Atlanta fan, I’d be stoked to see him dealt to the Thrashers – the guy has unbelievable talent.
