Best Glove Save of the Year
It will take a huge play by a goaltender to contend with the title of “Best Glove Save of the Year” with this special move by the Bruins goalie Tim Thomas. I’m not saying it can’t be done but it will be hard to trump.
Thomas’ arm grows about 8 inches as he stretches out to his left to rob (and I mean “We the jury find the defendant guilty” kinda robbing) the Leafs Francois Beauchemin who should have had a goal. In the end the Maple Leafs defeated the Bruins 3-2 in a shootout.
Check out the video. Or as the jury will know it, Exhibit A.
