Matt Bradley gets his face ruined
I was watching the Capitals – Rangers game the other night, and watched this fight between Matt Bradley and Aaron Voros. It was a seriously even-matched tilt, but Bradley clearly comes out on the losing end. The right side of his face takes the brunt of the punishment from Voros – it was totally brutal. Check it out.
I didn’t really notice that Bradley was bleeding until the fight was over, but to his credit, he didn’t really get completely rocked; he held his own fairly well. Not to mention that Matt Bradley would score the game winning goal in a 4-2 win over the Rangers – so it’s fair to say he had the last laugh.
Bloodshed in NHL Pre-season Fight

The 2009/2010 NHL hockey season is set to resume for another year and what would it be without a good old-fashioned fight to kick things off on the right foot (or right hook)!? Check out this great bout between the Ottawa Senator’s Chris Neil and Boston’s Milan Lucic. We have to give this one to Lucic but props go to Neil for toughing it out and going the distance even though he was mangled pretty badly…
Fight of the Day: Sugden vs. Brashear
First Fight of 2009-10 Season: Begin vs. Deveaux
Although its only pre-season for the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Boston Bruins, it is never to early to ’set the tone’ for the season with a good ol’ fashion hockey brawl. The Bruins Begin may have been mismatched against Deveaux in size, but he held his own. And as it turns out the Bruins got the last laugh anyhow with a 3-2 victory last night.
Hockey Fan Gets Owned After Jumping On Ice
One of the things I love the most about hockey is how drunk and riled up the fans get during the game. And nothing gets a hockey fan’s adrenaline pumping more during a game than watching a good ol’ fashioned brawl. So I want all of you hockey fans to do me this favor, watch the video! And next time you have an urge to jump on the ice and get in on the action, DON’T! Unless of course you can hold your own better than this fan did:
Greatest Bench Brawl Ever in International Competition
It’s the off-season so to keep you entertained we thought we’d showcase one of the greatest bench clearing brawls in the history of hockey. This was in the 1987 World Juniors in a match between Canada and the U.S.S.R. The “Punch-up in Piestany” erupted halfway through the final game of the 1987 world junior hockey championship in Czechoslovakia. Canada was already assured a medal, but that didn’t stop them from throwing down in this one.
